Congrats grumpy! And hello to anyone who still checks in on The Lounge. I can't believe the site's been up for over 2 decades.20 20 is the one who vouched for my access when it was invite only. I hope he checks in because this is his year. Happy 2020 everyone. -------------------- Verdammt durch das Fleisch. Gerettet durch das Blut.

Yeah freaking happy 2020! You jinxed us Wintermute! Just kidding, brother. What a crazy year with Covid-19. I never thought I would see something like this in my lifetime. My heart goes out the families affected by it from losing family members and to the first responders, medical staff, essential business workers, etc. The only good part, is being stuck at home with my beautiful Swedish babe (blunt) and we have my son Marcus (now 12) 50% of the time. Plus our two cats Robbie and Freja that sleep like 18 hours a day. It is a good feeling cooking three meals a day for your family and just hanging out and watching movies, going for walks, etc. However I hope we can return to a close version of normal someday soon. I have been working from home for last 2.5 months. I saw this coming back in Feb so I setup a nice office at home with standing desk, dual monitors on arm, dock and a ton of headsets and other audio devices. I see this pandemic changing the way many of us work in the future. The company I work for designs and manufactures crash test dummies and other safety related products. A few of our divisions make parts that go in the ventilators as well so we are considered essential. However all sales, marketing, purchasing, engineering, IT and the execs all are working from home. Only limited manufacturing folk in the buildings and they have PPE and proper shielding/spacing. I have been playing Warzone, Fortnite and believe it or not my son and I recently started up WOW again. He likes it more than I do. Anyway, it is great to see you guys every 1-10 years and hope everyone is staying safe. Congrats Grumpy! Skål killer! (cheers guys) [ 05-05-2020: Message edited by: Cacophonous ] -------------------- ...

I secretly think this site still exists waiting for raver’s triumphant return....

Cool, I got an email reminding me that this place is still here!So... anyone still play video games? I'm hooked on World of Warcraft, have been since playing it in 2008. I met my wife there! [ 10-21-2020: Message edited by: TheKiller ] -------------------- Talk is cheap, so is my signature.

So did I, and I had no idea that old email address still worked, let alone forwarded it to the right one. <--- oof, old smiley nostalgia rush. It's great to see so many familiar faces, and just as great to hear that y'all are doing alright. Thanks for starting the party, TK! I just finished Manifold Garden this past weekend. It's a really fun first-person puzzle game where you manipulate gravity. I eat those kinds of games up. Other than that, been binging the DuckTales reboot, and it's way better than it has any right to be. [ 10-21-2020: Message edited by: Flux ] --------------------
