….in my heart.

Steph and I are spending 4 days at her aunt/uncle’s house near Monterey Bay. We plan on doing some day trips around that area. We plan on going to the aquarium at Monterey Bay, check out Carmel and maybe if we get desperate go to Santa Cruz. =) Plus visiting with her relatives.

Then we are driving up to Napa Valley for a day and see maybe two wineries and try to time it just right so that the wine buzz and sunset come at about the same time.

We will end up in San Francisco for the last 4 days. We are staying near Union Square at a really nice place a friend recommended. In SF we want to see Alcatraz and maybe go over the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods to see some redwoods. Probably spend a few hours at North Beach (maybe some Italian food or coffee), get some dim sum in Chinatown, check out the Embarcadero area, etc. Will probably stay clear of Fisherman’s Wharf and yesterday's boiled crab. =)

Willy you’re down in Southern California right?

Yeah, I'm in southern california. South of LA, though, in northern coastal OC. The bay is about a 6 hour drive from here. Drako and D2 are up in that area, though, possibly in or around Modesto still. If you happen to make it down this way, you might also find The Stranger, smohq, and Lizardboy. And whatever/arn.taylor is probably around here, too, but he's been MIA for several years now. And I wonder what happened to zeramid. He was in south OC. Probably off to college somewhere now.

anyway, depending on when you're around, I *might* be able to get up there. I really would like to meet you two after all these years but I can't guarantee that I'd be able to.

Xan - Aw shucks we won't be in SF until the 28th of June! Otherwise we could have met up. So is Giants games code for Gay Pride week? j/k =) You should come to Detroit instead to see the number one team in baseball! Stupid Pistons! Is it your first time to SF? It's mine.

Willy - We are going to be in Morgan Hill (near San Jose) from June 23-26, Napa Valley on the 27th and 28th to July 2, in SF. That would be cool as hell to meet up but I wouldn't feel right you driving up 6 hours and I don't think we would have time to meet halfway. We want to do a Southern California trip sometime too. I heard San Diego is a great destination.

Max - My sister mentioned that she did the same basic trip also. Must be popular.

I'm down here in SoCal, too. Southern Riverside County. I work at the Naval Hospital directly across the street from the San Diego zoo.
