I'm looking for an easy to use program to create animated gif files... preferably free. anyone know any good links? thanks

Hi Bob

I also use Adobes Image Ready. If you have Photoshop installed it should have come with it.

I was gonna say that since the requirement is that it's legally free, then GIMP does animated gifs.

But yeah, if you have photoshop then you have image ready.

it wasn't really for anything great - we have a kiosk system that runs at our company and they want it all employees to be able to see what runs. i only have 8 slides from it but it seems to work. I exported the powerpoint slides as .gif images and loaded them into the animation. And don't blame me it crappy looking - I didnt make the powerpoint.
