I'm tired of your personal attacks. Whenever the platform subject has come up in the past, I might offer a sarcastic remark only to make a point. Without fail, you quickly turn every one of these discussions personal.

My last question to you is this: why do you defend your platform so vehemently? You're not a developer, and it's not like MS products need your backing. They have the majority of the population duped. So what's your motivation? I think, to most people, it's easily recognized as fear of the unknown. You fear GNU/Linux because you don't know it (which is obvious from your posts, regardless of how much time you spent on a RH station in college). You fear people that do understand it because you know that they're more valuable in the IT world than those who do not - and that's a threat to you.

If you're ever educated enough on both sides of this issue to discus it further, and mature enough to talk about something without injecting personal differences, we can continue. Until then, seriously, just don't talk to me. I've been coming around here for 7 years to keep in touch with a few people - you are not one of them.

A programmer should be able to recognize the strengths as well as the weaknesses of major products and let people just use what they wish and let them deal with the consequences of their choices, good and bad, but you are incapable of doing so. You have some inferiority complex you are struggling to overcome, and you do it by claiming your OS is superior, that it makes you smarter and gives you freedom of God knows what. If you can't see how your own posts would offend Windows users, then you're not only ignorant, you can't understand what you are even saying. You are the one who isn't educated. Look at your post in this thread. "MS duped everyone", "Flux isn't a developer", "Flux fears Linux", "I'm more valuable because I know Linux." That's horribly biased and so far wrong that it just demonstrates how ignorant you are of both sides, and of what I do. You can't understand that it's not fear, its a preference, something everyone else in this forum obviously understands.

Your remarks aren't jokes, they're thinly-veiled passive-aggressive attacks, and if you want me to stop responding like this, then get the message and shut the fuck up. It's that simple. Can you do that? Is that too much to ask?

And if you're not going to count college experience for anything, then where does that leave you? I guess you should discount that special-kids OS class you took.

To clarify, you are not a platform developer - you do not work for Microsoft on any of their Windows products. You're an entry level application programmer, right? Nothing wrong with that - that's where everyone starts out of school. Just don't walk around with your chest all inflated over an entry level position and salary -- not that those things are the issues here. The issues are that you 1) don't know very much about Unix, yet you blindly defend Windows, and 2) that you constantly lash out at me with personal slander.

I don't visit this forum to attack or argue with you - yet it's clear that you seek this conflict. Please, get laid, find a hobby, make a new friend, or something - just let it go.

I thought about that picture of Acid on AKITDH. There he's something like I was when attacked by that "demon" the day prior to the Prague flood of 2002... And then Jobriath's famous picture was something like "er wird zu stein..." For a few seconds I split outside of myself and writhed all white and also shrieked... that's when Acid became a star in my opinion, or in other words my Indian intelligence quotient was released and seized by intelligence of Europe. So... the demon was evil... I suppose it was. I remember writing "and I cried because it went away" - not knowing that was my own intelligence. Bleach. So I suppose that's why "Cherokie" in "Vague Value" at the ending rides a teratorn, not only because of that large and in charge trip to the Falkland Islands... hmmmm... but also that aspect of Krishna is what was stolen from me by jewish spanish deutsch...

Madonna's song "Music" comes to mind. Well there's a lot to write. When I think of that cover, the prologue, and then all the metaphorical fantasy retelling of the events of the tribulation... all of it done in fantasy... I just can't believe it. What a cool book. Wonder when I'll get my things?

My apologies to you Flux, I don't want to seem biased. I will not delete the topic for that matter. Any other topics created to continue this conversation will be deleted. Please take it to e-mail as suggested.

BTW, on a personal note. I am a Windows backer and I can safely say, Unix/Linux is the more superior OS in the power user/customizable sense, not the mainstream sense.
