I just picked up a S50 Sirius & Mp3 portable player. I found it for $299.00 plus once I activate it I get a $50.00 rebate. Since I don't own a Mp3 player it was the way to go for me.

I'm a Howard Stern fan so that is the main reason for buying it.

I'm a big Stern fan as well, but I already have the XM radio that came in my GM vehicle.

ehh...Opie&Anthony are pretty entertaining too, I guess

I got the Streamer GT for my truck a couple weeks ago. I love it.
Sirius and XML just "officially" came to Canada Dec 1. People here signing up for the Cdn subscription are getting ripped though. Only 100 channels and ten are Cdn channels which aren't worth listening too. Also I see no mention of Stern coming on the Cdn website. I got mine at Ft. Liner (they've been selling them there for years) and signed up with a US address so I could get the US subscription. It's also pulling in 9 out of the 10 Cdn channels too.

Stern won't be available in Canada because the Canadian government feels that the people there need to be protected from sex talk.

You're kidding right? lol The CRTC allows boobies and swearing on regular TV, I would hope they aren't being hypocritcal bastards.

I was semi-kidding.

I heard they don't want Stern for 'whatever' reason.

Maybe potty talk not sex talk.

I would think that if they'll allow rebroadcast of Tom Likus (sp?) they'd allow Stern. Tom's show is, in some ways, worse than Stern's.

No joke. I haven't watched primetime tv in the states much lately but I know the kind of trash you see here starting at 7:00pm. I like it.
