anyone familiar with this program? i have a v551 that i just got a replacement (warranty) for and i want to back up some of the photos and videos as well as the phone book to my computer before i send the bad phone back. the phone has built in bluetooth and i have a bluetooth adapter for my computer but you need to have the phonetools software to be able to download the numbers/photos/videos. any help would be appreciated. i just need a "demo" program to try out just to see if it's worth buying the software

Wish I could help but I don't have it nor do I know where you can get it. You can try BitPim, which is a free program that is supposed to download/upload stuff to your cell phone, but not all models under the sun are supported.
It really annoys me the way you ned "special" software to transfer data between a cell phone and a PC. They can't just have it work like a USB keychain drive? Baloney.
