This one http://www.vw.com/touareg/index.html

or This?

Why an SUV you ask? Uncle sam is still allowing tax breaks for people who buy vehicles over 5000 lbs for their companies.
These are the most fuel efficient of the over 5000 lb vehicles currently on the market.

The tax break works out to 30% off the sticker price.

The BMW X5 is nice as is the range rover but they are currently out of my price range.

The VW website kicks the pants off the volvo site. I think I like the VW better but I have to wait to see what the wife has to say. There is also a diesel version that gets almost 28 mpg but they have not yet brought it to the states.

Range Rovers are also one of the most polluting SUVs available. Don't get a Range Rover.

Sigh, they sure do look nice though. . .

Of course, it's not for "your company" - it's just your daily driver. If you're buying a $60K car, you don't deserve a tax break. On anything.

That's right, milk that system. Buy something really inefficient, too. Piss through gas like it's replenishable.

I like the VW. Then I also saw this. Is any of this implemented in the model you're looking at?

Tax breaks are made to be used. That's the only reason I upgraded my computer last year.

It really is for my company. Unless you are a business entity you do not qualify for the tax break. I am an LLC and my business is real estate sales. There are hundreds of tax loop holes and as long as it's legal there is no reason not to take them.

Did you know if you sell your house as an individual you do not have to pay capital gains on the first $250000? Or would you say "No I don't want to take advantage of that tax loohole?" If your married that amount goes up to the first $500000.00

Call me crazy but when the government offers me a good deal I'm willing to take it.

Both of those are nice. Check out the new Nissan Pathfinder and the Toyota 4 Runner or better yet the Toyota Land Cruiser.

Those are all bigger than what we were looking for. Honestly I'd rather get a car but with a $10,000 off cupon from uncle sam those small but heavy SUV's look pretty good. The reviews on the VW are pretty impressive. The guys at the car magazines really like it. If they would import the diesil I'd go with that. It gets 25 or 28 mpg. Not bad for a 5000 lb truck.
I'm guessing they added weight to those models just so they would qualify for the rebate.
