Kinda cool... My wife went to a taping of the show yesterday, and she got on!
She was one of the first called down, and won the 3rd or 4th bid (some type of bar furniture). She got to play Plinko, and almost won $10,000, but the disk dropped into the $0, and she ended up winning $600.
I guess she screwed up on the wheel, so she didn't get into the showcase showdown. I wasn't there, so I'll be watching her on Nov 14th!

Awesome. A friend of mine got to contestants row when we went a few months ago (we were scheduled to go the same day as the mudslide in La Conchita and almost got caught up in the first flow in across the road in the morning, but a few people were late and we ended up just turning around and rescheduling). She got called up in the last round, but lost on the bidding. The woman that made it to the stage won a Neon. The Showcase Showdown guy went with my bid (25,500 fora Dodge Ram and a vacation and some other stuff) and ended up nineteen bucks under and pulled in 54 thousand dollars worht of prizes that day. My friend got a golden mantle clock and a cordless phone.
But hey, congrats to your wife. It's too bad she didn't get more.

Plinko is the best fucking game on that show. That's cool that she got to play it.
