Same thing that happened to DVD Decrypter I believe. Basically got threatened w/legal action for breaking the encryption, which is bs imo.

As long as the last available versions of the software still do what they are supposed to it shouldn't matter too much. DVD Decrypter still works great for me. 9to5 works well for shrinking DVDs. It's not meant to be free, though.

I should have said that I actually have both DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. I just went to the websites last night to look for updates and was greeted with "this site is no more". Legal action! Bastards. This software has helped me greatly in backing up my DVD collection.
