Just joined net flix. They send me a new DVD or two every few days. I thought it would be nice to copy them for later viewing. My copy of Nero has the nerve to tell me the DVD's are copy protected. Can someone recommend a good program that could care less about copy protection?

I've got some old school stuff that is a three or four step process. I'd prefer something that just asks me what I would like to burn than does it.

DVD Decrypter works well, and I think it can be used in conjunction with Nero to decrypt and burn without you having to do any intermediary steps.

I'm not sure about what vader is suggesting but I use DVD Shrink with much success and so does everyone I know.

ditto. www.afterdawn.com has many helpful forums and guides, etc. I learned a lot from that site.

DVDShrink has bypassed protection on just about every DVD I've burned. But it can't hurt to have more than one option.

Thanks all. The decrypter got the DVD from the disk to my computer. I'm still having issues with DVD shrink (it keeps telling me I'm out of memory) but from some of the articles I'm reading I may have a fix (other than buying more memory)

When I re-authored the disk and took out all of the crap it worked. Put it in the DVD player with the big TV and it looked great as well.

Thanks again!!!

This is for backup purposes only, right?

Edit: I mean, you're getting DVDs from Netflix, watching them, loving them, going out and buying them, backing them up and putting the original in a safe place....right?
