Actually I replaced two recently. Not for me. Plus a machine with a dead clogged front intake fan, dead cpu fan, overheating powersupply plus the hard drive was flaking out, all caused by the heat from the clog and the dead fan, yada, yada.

I never knew this until I looked the other day but my comp case doesn't even have a fan in it. The PSU has one, the CPU has one and the video card has one but not one on the case. Has a space for one though.
I brought up Intel Active monitor and noted the temp and it was 108. I put a fan on it (a little vornado pointed in the case with the side off) and it cooled it down to 93. Maybe I should get a new case.

Mad Max, what sort of things would you need to consider when buying a case? I think the biggest problem would to put in the mother board. It is the only thing I haven't removed from my own computer before, but it looks like I'll be in a similar boat as you.
