I'm tired of Coors Light and Yuengling Lager, and I can't stand Miller or Budweiser.

I am looking for a domestic beer that has a good non-watered-down flavor, not so heavy on the calories, and must come in a keg.

Any ideas?

Why domestic? I'm on a Heineken kick lately.

You drunk Coors Light but not Budweiser? I guess each to their own but I find Coors Light to be like having sex in a canoe.

How about Sam Adams?

I dislike most Sam Adams beer. Coors Light is so fucking watered down why not drink water. Bud is ok only if you are already drunk and that is all they have left. Miller is the same.

I hate all domestic beer especially what you get from a 'micro' brewery. Whatever. I don't like Mexican beer or Heineken.

I like: Labatt's Beer, Molsen Beer, Fosters, Bass Ale, Guinness Draught, Hacker Phscorr Wheat Beer, Oberon Wheat Beer, etc...

Cac, it's Molson, not Molsen

I doubt you can get it in the States, but Okanagan Springs Brewery up here in BC has some great beers. I really like their 1516 Lager, and their Pale Ale. Labatt Private Reserve is decent, so is Sleeman Cream Ale. Sorry TB, I don't have much experience with light beers. I avoid most light beer like I do the girls that look hot with beer goggles on.

For american beers, about the only ones I can stand are Pilsner, MGD. I only drink MGD when there is nothing else available though. I'll drink Troika Vodka out of a plastic mickey bottle first, and that stuff is NASTY.

I don't about wheat 'ales' but wheat beer or even half-wheat beer is great in the summer, served ice cold, with lemon pieces.

I'm not a fan of Guiness, but I can drink a few Harps. I haven't had much experience past that since I'm not 21 until 9/4 this year. Then I'm gonna do the wall @ the restaurant I work at.

If I am drinking domestic beer I drink very cheap beer. Like Schlitz or my favorite cheap beer, Schafer Light.

Petes is alright, not my favorite but decent.

I don't like Heineken at all. I'd rather drink a Hollande instead.

I've been drinking some Anchor Steam beer this summer, it makes for a pretty good summer brew. I'll always love a good Guiness, Boddingtons, or Beamish.

edit - Also forgot to mention that I enjoy Bass too.

I drink Bud most of the time. I know it's not great but it's cold and refreshing. I don't find the taste offensive.

I don't drink Guiness or Guinnes but I've drunk the odd Guinness.

Heineken is probably my favourite lager beer but Red Stripe is nice too. Whenever I am in a restaurant I'll try that nationality's beer such as Tsing Tao.

When I was younger I drunk more "real ale", heavier, darker beer. Not so much now though since I tend to go for something that is refreshing.

Corona does taste like piss without a lime but I find it drinkable with the added fruit / taste.

I don't typically drink beer for the taste which is not to say that I will drink beer if I find it tastes shitty. It serves a purpose and that is to get a buzz and refresh me. If it's not too hot then I would rather have a glass / bottle / case of red wine.

Anybody tried Cave Creek chili beer? I've had a it a few times. Pish beer but a novelty drinking something with a pepper floating in it. A little spice too.

SkullSplitter is a nice beer. Dark, heavy and alcholic. Very full flavoured, I can only drink a couple of them. Old Peculier is another fave of mine. Again, dark and heavier. Thinks Newcastle Brown Ale but better IMO.

Anyway, I'll keep drinking Bud even though I know it's not trendy to do so. I've met MANY people who say it's shite but I also see a LOT of people drinking it.

Lots of people drink Bud Lite and that I cannot understand. When did guys start watching their fucking waistlines?!!? If you're concerned about calories jump on a fucking treadmill between cheeseburgers.

AS for Canadian beers. I think I like both Labatts and Mols[o|e]n but it's been a while since I had either.

Becks - Can't stand that.

I've sold one of those at the restaurant where I work. The guy told me how its the best beer ever, but I think we've had the same six pack of it for three months.

(1) domestic beer- Because it's usually cheaper.
(2) good non-watered-down flavor- Because I want it to taste good.
(3) not so heavy on the calories- Because I don't want to get fat.
(4) must come in a keg.Because I have a beer dispenser.

I always have some Guinness or a microbrew in the fridge for special occasions. I'm just looking for something to stick in the kegerator for casual drinking.

Heineken is completely disgusting, I don't know how so many like it.

Yuengling is good and cheap.

Bud isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Bud Ice is the cream of the crop.

Coors Light is the closest thing to water (great for chugging contests).

Corona is an aquired taste. I often referred to it as mexican piss growing up. Then I started to drink some with lime. Then I realized its so much better un-tainted (which is why I say its aquired).

To be honest, never had a Guinness. The dark color always frighten me. Maybe one of these days I'll man-up and have one.

One no one mentioned, Miller High Life. I consider that the champagne of beer.

TB - You gotta try the various Gordon Biersch brews. They taste good and you can fill a keg with the Marzen for like 50 to 60 bucks.
