Bought a boat on ebay. Drove from Delaware to Upstate New York to pick it up. Took 8 hours to get there 9 hours to get back.
Got a wicked deal. Less than half price for a three year old boat.

The only negative is the seller was a moron.

The asshole knew I was driving 8 hours to get there and 8+ hours back. Nothing was ready when I got there and it took four+ hours of waiting for his dumb ass to get everything together.

My Question. Do I leave him Negative feedback on Ebay or not? Great Boat, Great Price Super Stupid Seller.

Took it out on the bay today :-)

if the boat is what you expected and the actual transaction went well, give the guy a positive.

A boat's just boat but a box can be anything. Even a boat! And you know how much we've been wanting one of *those*! We'll take the box!

I had to google it to find out it was Family Guy...you have too much time on your hands to memorize lines from a syndicated cartoon

The boat is just a little 16' Bayliner with a 90 HP engine.

Three years old, Owner has less than 50 hours on it. Looks like new, They have not changed any of the specs in the last three years.

Selected Options: $443
My Price**: $14,993
Destination Charge: $679
My Price does not include destination charge.

With the 90hp option it's almost a $15,000 boat. I paid $6000 :-) It tops off around 60 mph

Pics can be seen here- http://www.bayliner.com/runabouts.asp?modelid=44194&year=2005&reqtype=1,9,23

A bigger boat would be cool but the bay here is very very shallow.

Nice little runabout.

I'm the cabin-cruise type, but I used to do sport fish a fair bit, and overnight on the water. I would do it still if I had the time.
