I'm finally done. I walked saturday morning and turned in my last lab book yesterday. Pretty soon, I should be mailed a Bachelor's of Science in chemistry with a minor in physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

It has been a long time coming and I'm going to miss all the friends I made there, but it's a relief to finally be done.

Just thought you guys might want to know.

And if he happens to read this, I want to send a special thanks to The Stranger. He encouraged me to aim a little higher and go for the UC degree instead of settling for CSU Long Beach or Fullerton.

So... now to find a job...

so now I have a test lined up on monday as the first step of getting employed by the county of los angeles on a project in a water treatment facility. Sounds like it might be a shitty job (pun intended) but a good start. We'll see. It's still really preliminary.
