Time to bring back the old war room thread.
2 PCs and a laptop, 3 monitors (there's a CRT sitting on the floor off camera). and yeah, my center monitor is kinda fucked up, but its 19" so i'm keeping it till i can replace it or buy a pair of LCDs. Don't ask what's painted on the wall. This used to be my sister's room before I made it my office. [ 05-31-2005: Message edited by: Flux ] --------------------

Cause he doesn't have a dictionary? Here's mine, 3 shots, I have a BIG desk (8 feet across): sigh. . I win the dirtiest desk contest. . .that's for sure. But the Intel Bunnysuit Guy with the laptop, sitting on my monitor makes up for it Although he does have this tag that has the Intel Centrino logo, with Made in China below it [ 05-31-2005: Message edited by: AcidWarp ] -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

I can't stand keyboard trays myself. But if you're wondering why my monitor is on top of a yellowpages on top of the desk, it's because I'm too cheap to get a monitor stand for it. [edit]
BX, you'll never beat my rats nest of wiring. FS, burble - I always keep my shit this clean. This is about as clean as it gets tho, because I had just installed the second graphics card and had to make room for the second monitor on my desk.Cac - the room got a paintjob a few years ago and the tape was covered by furniture, so no one bothered to remove it completely. So I guess the short answer is laziness. And I just got a this so my desktop is just that much more ergonomic I used to have my kb right in front of my monitor cuz that's how I liked it. Had that at work, in my dorm (laptop, not really detachable), so I'm used to it. But the kb is now in the drawer because I can't be as close to the main monitor and still glance over comfortably to see the secondary monitor. Acid - nice empty bottle of nyquil. somehow, i'm not surprised. butble - wtf is all over your walls? JOSH - good eye. AW - goddamn you need to clean that up. my sister had that too, tho she got rid of hers awhile ago (she's older than me, thank christ). why not just take a putty knife and scrape the shit off? you can fill in the deep scrapes with painters putty. it would still be a bitch tho. --------------------

Big T, I know that I desperately need to clean that up. It's actually not all that bad. most of the stuff on the right side is books and some coaching stuff (I'm a swim coach) stuff all jumbled together. I was pawning through some boxes left over from my last move, and I yanked the books out. Well, okay, the lighterfluid has no place there. . but it keeps the voices happy. The wires though. . I'm afraid that's just me. I think there's a hub, a KVM switch, and a cold cathode in that pile somewhere.
