enh, between working on peeps puters, making sigs and banners, building websites, and playing MCrack I've been busy. enh, quit drinking though
I DID however accidentially erase my eprom on my AMD 64 machine. So I'm running on the Dell at the moment. About to pick up a X800 XL for the AMD for when the Mobo comes back from RMA. [ 03-26-2005: Message edited by: Devastator ] --------------------

You know dev, I was thinking about your erased bios the other day, and it suddenly occured to me that if it was an Award/Phoenix bios that you can stick a bios with flash utility on a bootable floppy, turn the machine on, wait a minute or two, and it'll boot to a prompt and let you re-flash.If it was an AMI bios, then you can do the same thing by holding down CTRL when you power up. . . Doesn't help you now though I guess. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

didn't get far enough to boot to anything AW. It never even posted. No beeps nothing. I (if I was lucky) got to see the initial MSI/Radeon logo screen and it stopped there.Never even looked for floppies or CDROMs Basically I knew power was getting to the board but nothing more than that. --------------------

Meh, probably best to RMA if it's still in warranty anyway. Especially if you can live without.-------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.
