So who's ending up staying with Matrix Online?

Things are nuts on this last day of beta. Reported sighting of Neo and Smith. Morpheus has been assassinated. Niobe is leading the resistance. Agents are storming the streets. All while I'm at work. :|

I'll be jacked-in in about 2 hours though to join the mayhem.

Yesterday was pretty tight too. Met Morpheus at the basketball courts. He gave a speech when the first assassination attempt was made. Then the whole zone turn PvP and there were huge faction wars. After mopping up there, I ended up dueling Seraph. Good times in MxO!

I don't want to sound like a dick but it's unavoidable, what is MxO? From what you wrote above it sounds like fun.

Miss you guys.

Hahah, how can you not think about EverQuest when you play a MMORPG.

But at least this has a theme close to our time instead of mystical or futuristic.

Plus, I can't get enough of the Matrix.

lol, yeah I bet I killed my motherboard on my Matrix machine. It's in RMA at the moment but by the time I get it back, beta will be over so I guess IncognitoX is done for now

Perhaps I'll go ahead and grab the game and just take my time developing IncognitoX from scratch. Hmmmm, possibly I should decide damn quick so I can get my free Hyper Jump ability from the beginning. Gotta make it easier to level up initially.

soooooo, What did Morphous say? The Merovingian? etc. No NDA so spill it. I know where you are so lemme in on it Spare me the newbie explainations of locations etc. just gimmie the jist of it

Well... All throughout the Matrix, the skys were red with eyes in them. The billboards were warning us to jackout or face the consequences. There was a virus running rampant through the Matrix (Flame Virus, ppl were running around on fire. If you went near someone not infected, they immediately flamed up!)

Morpheus was telling us not to trust the machines, that they're up to something because they will not give Neo's body back, and we should fight for it. While that was going on, Commander Locke was telling us that Morpheus is a rogue and will only cause problems for the truce.. Sure enough, he was probably right....

Morpheus was assassinated. The agents starting purging the system. The exiles basically, exiled (they didn't want to be bothered). Through the thick of it, I met with the Merovingian. He wasn't pleased at all, basically blaming humanity for ruining the Matrix. Then *he* sent the agents after us!

I wouldn't read too much into it though. I doubt the story is going to go like that come Saturday. The Dev's just wanted to show us some possibilities in the story, but they said it will not go down *exactly* like we saw.

Still though, it was so much damn fun man. PPL were running around scared as shit either from the virus or the multitude of agents. I would kick an agent's ass (like lets say a Level 30), as soon as I killed him he would re-appear even stronger. Eventually, you had to lick your wounds and run. (that's if the virus didn't finish you off!)

lol, yeah it can handle it I'd rather spend the cash on the hardware than spend the $50.00 for MxO then another $180.00 just to be able to play it for a year

(Like I have ever stayed with a game that long)

Sooooo, instead of commiting to an Evercrack like experience.... I'm just gonna get me a decent video card to go in this new machine I've blown up

RMA should get back soon and she's a runner

The Matrix was fun. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I had GFK to get me started too and that helped a lot. After that first night of node hunting, I basically explored every inch of what was available. Got myself snuffed by a couple of Agents in the process. I would (most likely) play it more than I should (and at $15.00 a month wth) so probably not a great idea

Ok, I think I'm going to jump. Is A.I. still a viable faction in the Matrix?
