Apparently in Canada you can't just win something, you have to take a 'skill testing question' before you can claim a prize that you win? quote: ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States & Canada (except for those states listed below), who are at least 18 years old and who have Internet access as of September 6, 2004, Employees of Alienware Corporation and SONY Online Entertainment and their affiliates, related parties and immediate family are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes void in FL, VT and RI and where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. If a winner is a Canadian resident, they will have to answer an unaided, time-limited math skill-testing question as a condition to receiving a prize.
Thats from A contest from Alienware. I've heard this is an actual law too, even if you win a free icecream at McDonalds you'll have to answer a 'skill testing question' lolz. Canadians, Confirm / Deny this? [ 02-01-2005: Message edited by: mynameisxanthan ]

Well. . . I should point out that you don't have to answer a skill testing question if you win the lottery or something.-------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.
