I'm going to echo Lazyboy's sentiment. There are so many commercials for diseases on TV that I'm beginning to think I have one, or that I need one. I want the one that comes with the hot chick and the puppy.I hate those damn Valtrex commercials. They make Genital Herpes look like the greatest thing since sliced bread. I also hate those god damned Lamisil ads. Those actors haven't suffered from Athlete's Foot, EVER! Then there's the tripe spewed forth by Personal Injury lawyers. Fucking ambulance chasers. They're the fucking reason that we're all lawsuit happy. You fell down that cliff after climbing the safety railing? Live with it, dumbass. Don't sue the company that made the railing, or the resort. It's not their fault you're an idiot. I'm an angry crank, and I'm proud of it [ 01-31-2005: Message edited by: AcidWarp ] -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

Instead of teaching condom use in high school, they should teach CREDIT use. I have 3 nieces in their early 20's that all have over $30K debt on plastic - and it ain't at under 10% APR either.I have another friend whose wife is such a moron that everytime she gets a credit card app announcing an initial $5K or $10K credit limit, she signs for it and promptly goes out on a buying binge cuz she thinks it's "free money". Hubby wants to stick his fork in right between her eyes at the end of every month. Let's consider this, folks. Home Equity Loans are really tits IF the housing market continues to boom, as the value of existing homes continues to rise and generate paper equity. All it will take is a jump in motgage interest rates (and that may happen) and the market boom will stop because money's got too expensive to buy a new house, OR YOUR over-leveraged existing one. If your house's value drops and you start to generate NEGATIVE equity, the bank will call your loan in a heart-beat. We could see another real estate bust like the 80's, but this time on a personal instead of commercial side. -------------------- No Sig

I don't really hate commercials but I agree that people must be really stupid to buy some of this shit. The best ones are the "Paid Programming" where they ram a product down your throat for 30mins.So which commercials do I "hate". Subway - just because ONE fat bastard lost a lot of weight by eating subs every day doesn't mean shit. They should realize that if they had more than just ONE fat bastard singing their praised people might actually believe that the power of the sub is not just a fluke. I guess they have more people but Jared, geez, good on ya buddy but you still look like a dick, just a skinny dick now. Geiko - YOU CAN'T GET GEIKO IN MASSACHUSETTS SO STOP PLAYING THOSE DOUBLE ADS!!!!! I know it's national television but it still sucks. I CANNOT save 15% on my car insurance with a quick telephone call. McDonalds - I actually think their commercials are better since they took over doing them themselves. Lite Beer - Some beer commercials are funny who listens to all that crap about "less carbs" and "better taste"? they're all like having sex in a canoe i.e. it's fucking close to water! Nearly all cleaning products - everyone cleans their house with a single wipe of a paper towel that lasts forever. Anti-smoking ads funded by Philip Morris - that's just sick. Max, what about the used car lot ads on public access? Does every car salesman in MA have a gross Boston accent or what? Other than that, I'd love to give the levitra slut a strong, lasting experience right in her ass. What a whore.
Don't see them very often but know EXACTLY the guys you're talking about. "Come on down to Lynnfield and test drive your next noo cah!" -------------------- Miss you guys.
