That's about the amount of time I've been away from hard core computer use.I'll start. I don't look at or download as much porn. I still fly with the USAF Reserves but I am no longer an Activated reservist. This means I get to pick my trips. I'm still doing construction work but I'm moving toward full time real estate investing = buying shacks, fixing them selling them. And I'm getting married again.

Both require more education. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

-quit working for the university spring 2002 -started working full time for my own company spring 2002 -got into university (as a student) autumn 2002 -started mobile phone game programmin spring 2003 -bought an apartment summer 2003 -got a camera to the business, and started shooting photos offhand spring 2004since then it's been work, work, work, study, party, sleep. I'm about 1/3 on my way to a Master's degree in Philosophy majoring in CS. I guess anywhere else in the world I would become a Master of CS, but not here. Minors in business and mathematics, maybe. While doing that, I and my buddies have multiplied our turnover and have business up to the ears and above. -------------------- quote: Originally posted by FS: Wow, I can't believe I'm agreeing with FS on this one

FS - what is your company doing? need any US partners? Let's see... Dropped out of college since it's a big waste of my time and money. 3 years in and I still haven't learned anything new about computers and I was in debt up to my ass. got hired at my old tech job, got promoted within two months, learned asp/sql, worked on a bunch of websites for my boss: www.jumpfor4.com www.completecoaches.com www.edutrak.net/tsr etc... incorporated my own company with a co-worker, he quit to go full time, then i did too. making some cash working with a collection agency as well as a deal with my boss to continue work on his websites as a full partner rather than an employee. still with the same girl - we moved from buffalo to grand island back to buffalo. got a new Bed the other day with a pILLoW ToP. -------------------- I am.

Lets see...
- Gradumicated High School. (More more free time on my hands)
- Backpacked Europe. (Opened me up a whole lot more socially because I was all alone for 4 months)
- Worked for Comau Pico as an Intern for the F.I.R.S.T Robotics Program (Nice paying job in computers)
- Got a full-ride scholarship to Wayne State University (Securing my near future)
- Became a Roadie for my friend's band. (Learning a whole lot more about music in the process)
- Quit Pico by not going into work for 2 months. (Realized that I abhored the idea of going into that industry, and was starting to become burned out on computers)
- Became photographer for said band (Becoming more interested in photography, music, and writing at this point)
- Changed my major from CS to English with a minor in Archeology (I plan to travel the world with the rest of my life, and figure I should know about where I'm going)
- Went to the World Yoyo Competition (expanding my evergrowing global base of friend's houses I can crash at)
- Possibly renting a house soon with the rest of the band.
So in a nutshell, I've gotten wanderlust, opened up a whole lot more socially, got into the local detroit hardcore (music, not pr0n) scene, and moved away from computers and towards writing and other arts. All the while yoyoing and playing with other skilltoys School starts in a week for me, I'll be taking Greek Mythology, German, Philosophy, and Humanities my first semester; it should be very cool.
