OK, well I wasn't about to purchase this if I wasn't going to be able to run it. I'm currently below minimum specifications.Northwood 2.0Ghz 256MB DDR 2600 Geforce2 MX 400 64MB So I acquired a copy and installed the game. I'm playing at 640x480 low settings all around. But the thing is, It's playing. I'll let you know if it's completely unmanageable later on this evening. The wife just got home and the suns in the wrong place to see the monitor very well and this game is dark. I was able to walk around and interact with the people just fine but haven't gotten into da chit yet. I expect that is when it will become unplayable. I'm very very surprised that it's playing as well as it is at the moment though. Doesn't look bad either. Of course that's comparing it to what has come before. I am not going to get the good eye candy until such time as I can put the Gig of ram and a decent video card in here. Just thought that some might find this info useful. Well, I was talking with some people dev, and it seems as though ID exaggerated the specs a little. It's running fine on hardware that skirts the minimum and at higher settings.Plus it might help that you have a fast CPU, and a fair amount of RAM. That helps. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

ok, well consider my specs just below the real world minimum playable requirements. They're still a couple of things I can turn off but it's just minor shit.Once I got to where I was going and the guy I was talking to freaked and shit went all to hell... Well, while I've stumbled through a title in this fashion back when my trusty 200MMX was my biggest machine, I wouldn't do it today. Besides the title in question deserves better just so a person could enjoy it properly. With the gig of DDR Ram and a proper Vid card this box will play it just fine. But with the memory and video so out of date...It's basically a no play. Report finished, Dev out. Well, it runs fine at 8x6 medium setting on my system. It would probably run fine at High (I ran the timedemo at high), but to tell the truth, it makes only a marginal difference in the visuals, and I'll take the extra FPS. That being said, it's not much.specs: Athlon XP 2600+ (barton) 512MB ram Geforce FX5600XT 256MB -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

Cy - It should run it fine at 800 X 600 with medium graphics. Mine runs it fine with those settings and my box is similar: AMD XP 1700+ 1.0 GB DDR SDRAM GeForce III Ti200 -------------------- ...

I'm not bored of it, just either no time, or so tired that I just want to sleep and even eating is a chore.-------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.
