Like, $50.

I bought a 6800 to replace it, as I was having some major monitor corruption and suspected the modifications I'd done to the card as the culprit.

Unfortunatly after replacing the card, the corruption continued and now I'm in the process of sending my nice LCD back to Samsung for an exchange :-(

At any rate, it's a modded card. It currently has a non-stock HSF on it (though I have the stock one and I'll send it along in case you want to put it back on), and the fan can not run off the card's power, it has to be connected to a 3 pin header on the motherboard.

I've had the card for over 1 yr, and it still runs great. You can pay me after you get the card if you like, if it don't work, don't pay... of course that only applies to regulars here. If you're a newb, sorry, payment first.

Anyone interested? Should run Doom 3 jus' fine...

yeah, the HS is the only mod. I did pry off the protective shim on the chip to make the HSF fit a little better, which does add a little risk if you want to change out the new HSF in the future though...

I sent ya an email. But tell me, I've a 9600pro that I modded hs in my htpc, and use a fan bracket with 80mm fan to cool it, you think the hs you have on 9800 will be cooled decently if I just remove the fan you have on hs and use same bracket fan I already have. I try to keep noise down in htpc box, but a 9800pro would boost gaming on it.

As long as the 80mm fan is directed at the heatsink, I don't see why not... but the 9800pro does run a lot hotter than a 9600, and will prolly raise the case temp 5-10 degrees over what the 9600 does...
