Sooo... what about the two other sites? Maybe a new vote?I would frankly prefer the IncoX forums over these, but I guess some of you guys wouldn't be of the same opinion... -------------------- quote: Originally posted by FS: Wow, I can't believe I'm agreeing with FS on this one

I personally don't give a flying fuck where we go. i like incognito. . I like here. . . I will always be at [em] as that's my clan.BTW. . . can we keep politics out of at least ONE thread around here. It makes my head hurt. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

No snag, that's worse, cause you mentioned hockey. . . and that gets me thinking about the fact that there probably isn't going to be a season next year. . .-------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

Snag, the theory is sound, but the practise is not.Even in Finland studies show a clear relationship between money invested in campaining(*) and votes received. The message is simple, the more money you blow, the more likely you are to be elected. I'm not sure that's what the people really want though, deep down. (Sure, you could also interpret that as the more certain a candidate is of election, the more money they blow, but personally I hold the former interpretation as more likely.) Now, I say scrap ALL forms of political funding. Kick the corporates out of politics. Each candidate, if qualifying is some suitable way (e.g. minimum number of people supporting), gets the exact same amount of TV and radio time, and the rest is up to his/her ideas and personality. THAT would be a democratic election. We'd have less spam that way too. Sure, the voting percent would drop to like 10%, but at least those 10% would vote because they know what they want, rather than simply seeing the guy in a flashy TV commercial. (*this was a parliament election though, not presidential) -------------------- quote: Originally posted by FS: Wow, I can't believe I'm agreeing with FS on this one
