I don't know how Dev gets his hosting, but if he was willing to let us use incognitox for the domain, I don't see why us regulars couldn't help host.

That's supposed to be a great host [ran by a mod of neowin, and since I'm a member we can get a 20% discount].

Any other ideas?

Heh I hosted myself over a 1.5MB down, 256 Kb/s up DSL connection. It wasn't the fastest but it was cheap. (if a pain at times)

hmm.

Now that we got a proper ISP at the office, I'm no longer limited by silly rules saying I can't host commercial services or keep servers and all that shit.

Go ahead, test bandwidth

Now I still think we should merge with some more active community, where we could also find our own little corner.

Edt: FUCK, when did UBB Code URLs stop working??

Like I said in the previous thread, give www.3DGPU.com a try. Small but close community not so unlike this one.

Want to shack up on my server? I own one of these.

I also have a UBB license, but I only have 6.04a. We are running 6.04d here. I doubt there is much of a difference. Does anyone know if there are security holes in that version?
