I only know about 4 or 5 of those bands, and only one of them is worth listening to

I'd go just to see ZZ Top and for no other reason lol

Trace, I'm jealous. I haven't been to a concert since Edgefest '97 at UBC. Something always keeps cropping up that prevents it.

Make the plans and dont break them! Even if you are not a big fan of the bands its the whole experience that makes it worth it. They've put a lot of money into the grounds for this year and extended it an extra day.

There's nothing like camping for a few days and having live music to go along with it. Plus thousands of people all with one thing in mind.....breaking away from reality for a weekend.

I am going to Aerosmith next month...Cheap Trick is opening. I would rather go see them than stage 13. I went to Edgefest 97 as well and since then not...that lineup was still the best. I still have a shirt from that event too.

While I am sure all the bands are pretty good, the Tea Party has become a annual staple on that tour and therefore there is nothing cool about seeing them anymore. (it is as though they cannot survive without going on this annual multi-group non-album-promoting tour). It is like the Ice Capades of music...once is cool, after that is like refusing to cap a mamed horse.

I've heard of the warped tour. They have a wicked line up.

The stage 13 line up will be changing as it gets closer. There will be lots more bands.

I forgot about Aerosmith coming. That will be a good show.

Heh, Snag, I had an I Mother Earth shirt from that event. . . but I went to wash it one day, and it just disentgrated. I was pissed. The UBC stop was their last live show with the original band mambers.

Yeah, that Lineup ROCKED.
