Just for fun I leveled to 50, made it to the end boss without using a spell or potion and did this to him:

Round 1... He only has 2000 life.

Hehehe, i'm getting back into emulators too. After I lost all mine in a reformat debacle :X

I'm majorly cheating in FF5 right now though, I'm not even half way through and I think all my guys are maxed out. (FF2 Super Nintendo in north america).

ff4 == ff2; ff5 wasn't released until anthology.

but there is a good fan translation of ff5 floating around the net. That's the one I played. (and IMO, it was the best of all the FF games I played)

You sure ff4=ff2NA? I seem to remember at least 4 ff games for regular NES prior to FF for SNES/Famicom
