It's nice to know that we live in a world where I can make a six figure salary surfing the internet all day, trying to look busy and practicing alt-tabbing away from the pr0n when the boss walks by.

Still, sometimes I can't help but wonder what a rewarding job would feel like...

FYI~ The above is completely pointless, but composing these 2 messages did kill another 60 seconds of my otherwise mind-numbing day.

Another completely random though... I talked to the fiance last week and she agrees that a pr0n site or two would be a good way for us to make money, especially with two Iowa universities and some colleges nearby. More details as the planning goes along.

Off the top of your head though, what do you think I viable payout for a college chick to do topless photos would be... how about fully nude... how about if she brings a friend along...?

/me doesn't really have a clue what the going rates are...

Serengeti~ hook me up with a job. 6 figure in the usa would be so key thats the life I hope to achieve.
What do you do by the way?

I'm in computer science type stuff just wondering about jobs that I would love to do aka surf the net all day long, I've worked for the government so doing nothing comes naturally. But I am truly a hard work jsut never had a demanding job

Cac~ This is the first time... as far as I recall ;-)

God~ I started out as a programmer, moved over to a DBA position and am now a "Backup & Recovery Engineer" which can be very exciting on rare occasions and extremely boring the rest of the time.

Speaking of boring jobs, I am at my new boring job. Or at least it's boring today. I could of left already but I'm stuck waiting for this guy to come by.

So Backup Engineers make that much eh? Maybe I should move from Net Admin to that..

Serengeti- What do you do with your six figure celery?

This is my first year ever breaking six figures and the sad thing is I don't feel wealthy. I always used to think a 100K income would be the shit but now that I'm making that much I don't know where it all goes, I still feel like the same 2X I was when I was making 25K...

2x~ Well, just bought my first house... paying off bills, but I still find that my bank account hovers under 1k most of the time... which is troubling.

I've heard all the advice about making sure I have x months salary put away, but the bills keep adding up, and it seems that as soon as one thing is paid off, another comes up.

I'm really looking forward to next February though. My last car payment will be in January, and the car is still in great shape, so I figure I can squeeze a few years out of her with no car payments. That'll be nice.

My biggest problem though is the impulse spending. I'm really not very good at controlling that. That's why the fiance and I are thinking about getting into the pr0n industry... make some cash that hopefully wouldn't require too much of our time, something that we can do on the side. Speaking of which, you've been there right? Hop on ICQ or MSN sometime and chat me up, I'd love to hear about your experiences.

Hmm, topless college chicks could be a hit though.

Or you could just bend over like Tea Bagger said.

As far as the smut industry I wish you more luck than I had. I put 3 months of 18 hour days into all the programing/artwork/finding content/advertising etc... And it never really paid much more than 3 or 4 houndred dollars a month.

I spent 2 hours processing email every night, another 2 hours spamming the web and then more time with link exchange and banner swapping. We were ranked really well but just could not get people to pay for our services.

You need to have very unique content to make any money or a briliant advertising plan.

If you have someone like "heather" From I deep throat.com or wifey or an idea like Bangbus or captain stabbin you might be able to make some money. But if all you are doing is buying your content and posting it I don't think you will get very far :-(

But I certainly wish you the best
