I am in the process of researching some home audio equipment considering my Creative Lab I-Trigue 3300's aren't doing the trick. I am not looking for harmon kardon recommendations because I am far from being able to afford such EQ. I have been searching aimlessly on the Internet trying to find what I am looking for but I am not sure what i should be looking for. I've noticed receivers that have 125 watts per channel at cheap prices and then I see the harmon Kardon stuff at like 55 or 85. I assume its the sound quality that would increase with the more expensive equipment? I'm not positive which brands to go with so if I have any audio efficienados(sp?) in the group that could poiint me in the right direction or atleast a website that I can use as a better starting point then searching through google.
