more specifically, Oscars

I have had a hell of a time getting fish to live, they keep dieing...last night I bought an Oscar for my other half, when we woke up this morning, my frog was gone, and a small fish and the Oscar were dead....we end up finding the frog a day later...in our cat's water dish, alive

to make a long story short I listened to the guy at walmart like he knew what he was talking about
sucker me

but Wal-Mart is buying me over $30 worth of new fish

my ohter half now has 2 Oscars... I named the new one Ginger, she's hot for a fish anyway

wish us luck...if these fish die I give up

Oh you can expect that, everyone's mad here, you may have noticed I'm not exactly all together myself

go ask someone at a real fish store how to maintain the aquarium. Temperature, dissolved gasses, pH, and ion balance all need to be considered as well as proper filtration. Have you considered something a little more hardy? Bettas are really easy to take care of.

I got a betta fish that lives in a cup for my son, it is a fish that doesn't die! Try one, they are pretty cool and like to kill other fish. Just change half of their water every week and increase the size of their tank and they will love you long time...

I'm thinking of trying my hand at breeding guppies...my mother in law used to do it, so I have the know how

that would be a cool job, stay home and feed the fish, then sell them at ridiculous prices
