Hehe, Fluxy you beat me to the reply. Yeah, she's the best dog in the world. Half Rottweiler, half German Shepherd. Not too big, not too small. She's practically perfect in everyway. You should try lugging a tripod around, lol.You don't need an expensive one. I got a cheap Optex one that's not to bad. It's not tall enough (I'm 6'), but to get one that is would be several hundred dollars. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.

Nice photos both of you guys. They are all good but I really like the one with eks g/f especially how her shadow looks like a different pose. The sky in that first one is great and I like the fence one alot. Acidwarp I like all yours but the dog is my favorite. I'll have to post some later. -------------------- ...

This is a picture I snapped at a soccer match - my home team. It's a rare shot and I'm pretty proud of it. The weird thing about it is that even though it's obvious to all that a foul has been commited, no penalty was given?!?!?! [ 01-23-2004: Message edited by: Max ] -------------------- (_*_)

Thanks Xan...(you really have a great talent and could easily become a professional.) The more I look at them... That first one is awesome too. Crash - I always like your creative style even when FM bastardizes them. The photos that I am looking for and most proud of are ones I took and developed myself in college. They are of an abandoned house and an old car. They are the closest I have ever come to being considered art. Believe it or not the developing can make or break a photo. I posted those 'chick pics' not for any artistic value as you probably already know. I started taking photos of girls that I dated back when I was around 18 years old (got my first real camera) and thought some day it would be cool to look back on it all. I rarely look back though. The girl in .0005 is still a good 'friend' (she is also in .0003 & .0004) but I have no idea what happened to the girl in .0010 who was a brief encounter. I discontinued taking photos of brief encounters because it started to feel like I was cataloging them and not taking photos for the right reasons. The girl in .0012 is just a friend but she is very cool and photogenic. She is also in .0002 with the red hair. Steph actually gets along good with the girl with the guitar (also .0002 on the left & .0009) although she now lives in Chicago. We actually stay (one night) with her and her new b/f when we go to Chicago. He is also a musician although a drummer. [ 01-25-2004: Message edited by: Cacophonous ] -------------------- ...

Cac, I also really like your first picture of the old gf bandmate on the guitar. It is very nice. I like your idea too of taking pictures of all the girls you've been with in your life. I bet thats a trip to look back on. I also really love to take photos of old abandoned places, its so cool to see something that so much work went into so many years ago, thats now forgotten. Here are some other photos I took at Sweet Springs, WV. It's an old spring resort. There are a ton of natural springs in my state (West Virginia) and way back in the 19th century and even early 20th century most people thought the waters had a medicinal quality to them. So, people would goto these places and spend lots of time in the springs healing. Really intersting stuff, George Washington as was a big fan of our springs, as were many other hisotrical figures. This place I went to is most likely an old spring resort of some sort but I've heard a lot of differnt things about it. Supposedly it was converted into a military hospital during WW2. The place is totally huge, you walk into it and it really feels like you are visting the hotel from the 'Shining' It has a vast front lawn, spring house, and the "resort" itself is very big. Too bad the doors were locked and we couldn't get inside. I would love to walk through it. ok pic time! - Broken glass from under a window on the second level of the resort - These are the steps that run up the front of the place. - Part of the front of the hotel/resort - This weird cart thing I found in the front lawn. It had little wheels but I had no idea what it was for. - The resort/hotel has a bunch of smaller houses around it on the outskirts of the property. Maybe where servants or help lived? - Me and my gf's shadows! - A light switch along one of the outside walls. - Under the second level, the bottom part.

Neat Heh, I was wondering which of those Steph was in Cac Xan, those're pretty cool pics, I like the one of the top level. I'm a pretty big fan of taking Sunset photos. I've got 1 or 2 that are way better than the other 2 I posted, but only 1 is scanned right now. I'm going to have to dig through my albums -Between Bowen Island and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, looking north up the Georgia Strait. -------------------- “I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” --Dr. Stephen Hawking.
