It's true. I have the best lady ever! Check out what she bought me for our anniversary... This is the truck, same color, with Owens custom fiberglass running boards. The truck I got is the same color as the one in the first picture, 2000 quad cab, long bed, 360 Magnum, perfect interior, towing package, custom dual exhaust, etc. etc. It sounds really mean, and runs like a champ! I will post real pictures as soon as I have access to a digital camera.

The running boards are painted to match, and look sort of like this, but in the long bed version, of course:

I'm sure she will be expecting a ram or two in return.

I was considering buying one myself so I can transport lumber or other large items a bit easier. Then I thought maybe I should stick with an SUV. You can put almost all the same stuff in an SUV plus you can fit 4-6 passengers in one. Also how often do I need to transport something that large? I'm still not sure what way to go...

Either way nice gift O - sounds like you have a great wife that knows how to buy affection just like the best of us. =)

That's the beauty of this truck, Cac! It has four doors, the back two being the 3/4 suicide type. You could get three of me comfortably in the back, as well as the front. So it is just like driving an SUV with an 8 foot bed.

Take my advice, go to a Dodge dealership, and check out a quad cab long bed. Doesn't cost you a damned thing to look.

I'm glad someone got a laugh out of that.

I swear everyone here has lost their sense of humor here...lately.
