Or you could get that AMD and nVIDIA setup.

I can't imagine that eye candy getting good fps on even the best of hardware. I hope they leave us the option of dumbing it down. I don't plan on upgrading my hardware again for some time. Don't have the funds...

what are you bitching about ? Scott and Brad (my 2 sons) are already asking about when it's coming out and if BOTH computers here will handle it. (One won't for sure, the other will probably need some help)

Can you say "Double Upgrade" ???

I can imagine a Simpsons like "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" scene with Jondster in the middle of it!

I thought that Doom3 isn't being released for quite some time yet? Meaning I will most probably be able to save some money for a new GFX card.

Heh...if you got the funds, there is nothing wrong with keeping your horsepower current I guess.

You could try the "If you get all A's in school then..." thingie!

Cy, I could try that but I'm not sure it would work. Brad's already pulling over a 3.3 on a 4 point scale. Scott's a little lower but the school shrink says he's more apt excel in areas other than prescribed schoolwork (???).

How about:

Wash Cars
Mow Lawn
Clean Pool
Clean -garage, yard, tool barn, etc. (YOUR ROOM)

???

What a concept !!!

Hey buying/upgrading 2 computers for your kids is a lot of money... yeah it would be a good idea if they would work for the house and help with the chores... It can teach them some responsabilities. If they already got some good scores at school, that might be a good idea.
