...just rocks. It is a musical for those people who don't like musicals.

Full of beautiful women being very in-your-face, an awesome cast and editing. It was very fast paced!

No, have not seen Gangs yet... should I?

Chicago was damned good. Definite Oscar nominations, probably for Renee Zellweger and Richard Gere, maybe even Queen Latifah, who can REALLY sing!

I heard that Catch Me If You Can is very good by several people besides you. Which is weird because the preview made me not want to see it. lol.

I liked gangs though...

Cy - I generally hate musicals too but I will go see Chicago for the cleavage. =) Actually I saw Moulin Rouge expecting to hate it and when I heard Nirvana, Zepplin and other cool songs I actually ended up enjoying it.

Lindi, this is an EASY way to score brownie points! Tell her that you want to take her to see a "chick flick"!!!

And no, your girlfriend will love it.

I've gotta get the book
If you recall the series "The Pretender" on NBC several years back (its on TNT now), it was inspired and based upon Frank Abegnale and another guy. I can't remember his name, but he was an imposter more than a con-artist. He had a photographic memory, and was even once able to preform a perfect apendectamy as a surgeon in the Royal Canadian Navy after reading a book on surgery.

Well I just saw the movie Chicago this weekend -Although I'm honestly not gay. j/k... I've heard so many good things about it but I must say that although I found it good, it was not all that great. I normally would not go to a musical anyway. I enjoyed Moulin Rouge a bit more than Chicago.

Of the movies I've recently, the only one I would highly recommend still is Gangs of New York. Great flick.

O - Do yourself a favor and go see Gangs...

As far as the other movie mentioned in this thread, I doubt I will go see 'Catch me if you can'. The previews do not appeal to me, plus I don't go for those cute movies.

Chicago is one of the best movies i've seen in such a long time, when i walked out of theatre, i just started dancing with this chic from my Tafe college that i went with, it was quite nuts.

If you havent seen it, and your sceptical about musicals and stuff, i advise you to go see it - i was talked into it and i'm so glad i went now. Richard Gere was putting on a clinic for all the other actors out there during this movie, sensational stuff.
