If you had been paying attention to my posts you would have seen the link for Velocity.net
http://games.velocity.net/status/?server=games.velocity.net&prot=q2s

That goes for you scooby too!

there are like 30 maps and you have to download them one by one.. they should put them in one big file.

I'll make a map-pack in a few days when I've collected a lot of maps.

burble~ LOL...there are only 12 maps and you can download them from the link I posted above. It will take you under 5 minutes/installed! If you are installing them via q2 auto download you only have yourself to blame. Sorry scoob, no need for a map pack on 12 maps that are under 1 meg in size each.

again, click the link and look to the far right of the page...12 MAPS. click on one jeeesh!

The link: http://games.velocity.net/status/?server=games.velocity.net&prot=q2s

I can not think of a more straight forward and organized web site as Velocity.net...use it.

*Cy goes back to talking to the wall*

Just zipped the entire map group together and it comes to just 5.55 mb. If any of you want to grab it from me via ICQ I am on most of the time...just speak up.

Thanks for the offer Cy and for zipping it up. I have the maps but most of the time I ping way too high there. I tried again tonight but no luck. Scooby is there right now.

I'm supposed to be getting a broadband connection tomorrow (wireless), so maybe I will finally be able to get back into online gaming.

Although, when I game right now, I just play co-operative Halo with my son

I tried the server lastnight and much to my surprise my ping was a mere 100 ms eventhough I was getting some backups on eMule.

The netgraph was a pretty green too, so no packetloss either.
