I did a few days back and was pretty disapointed, while it is a great game I hate the 3d model viewer it is a little bitty view of your chosen model and being a skinner myself and model lover I am so disappointed Epic went this route, even UT you could blow up a fullscreen of your model n skin. Also the game just sorta left me flat and empty, dont know what I really expected but I thought Q3 is still a better game and with all my maps and mdoels and mods and skins I dont see myself running out to get UT2 and a bigger hard drive. But on a positve note the bombing mod was great and addictive, you have to dbl jump or fire the ball into the opposing teams goal to score, it was pretty nice.

Tried it! It's a nice game but I won't buy it.... The physics of the game is now almost the same as Quake 3. Another reason for me to stick to Quake 3.. Anyway it's also a copie. IDsoftware is THE companie who make the best FPS on earth (hell they invented this genre).

I coughed up 50 bucks for the complete game the day it hit the shelves, played it maybe 10 minutes. It doesn't do shit for me. Looks too much like a big-ass cartoon with Don Pardo doing the play-by-play. I may be immature but I've grown up past that

Yeah, I was dissapointed this time around too. The weapons weren't anything great (I can't believe they took at the Ripper, and what the hell did they do to the Flak Cannon). It definetely had a cartoonish look. The models IMO aren't that great at all (who cares how many polys it has if it looks like shit). Don't like the physics. Don't like the net play (had a much better time going through the campaign). Only thing that is cool is Bombing Run.

Glad it was just not me, I mean why would I go out and get a BIG hard drive and drop 50 more for a game not as good as Q3. I suppose in two years it will be down to 19.99.
