The following is a list of traits that the FBI has identified as "risk factors" among students that may commit violent acts. Stay away from students showing any signs of:

-Poor coping skills
-Access to weapons
-Depression
-Drug and alcohol abuse
-Alienation
-Narcissism
-Inappropriate humor
-Unlimited, unmonitored television and internet use

Since this includes all of you, drop out of school immediately. Home schooling is not a viable option, because you must also stay away from yourself.

Oh yeah, because weapons kill people and all that?

-Unlimited, unmonitored television and internet use

Oh yeah, because immoral television shows and violent computer games will take over my life, causing me to use said weapons to kill people. At school.

I think it's a pretty good list. I'm sure that not all school shooters will display these tendancies the same as I'm sure that people who DO display these tendancies aren't going to be school shooters but they have to start somewhere I guess.

How many people here do, or would, Monitor what their kids are doing online? If you would monitor, how far would you take it? Would you let them know beforehand that their activity will be screened? I have no kids yet but it's already something that I have thought about. On one hand you have to respect their privacy but on the other you have to protect them. Jury is still out on course of action to take, just as well I have a few years to think about it.

I'm too old to be a school shooter, but next time I'm in the grocery store and that fat bitch in front of me at the 12 items or less express lane plunks down 30 items and spends fifteen minutes writing a check for them I'm going to stuff that box of krispy kreme down her throat and cram those twinkies into her face.

I got chided at the Wal-Mart for having 13 items in the 12 items or less checkout. Lucky for me Wal-Mart only hires half-wits. I told the cashier only 7 of the items were for me, and the other 6 were for gotta woody, but I was paying because gotta doesn't like dealing with half-wits.

This computer is mine, my kids could not afford a gun after getting their own computer and connection to the internet.

...or we'd share, meaning I think I'd have some idea.

Oh yes on those traits I thought that is what the military used to recruit new soldiers for special ops, hehe!
