What games/hardware is everyone excited about? Some of the most anticipated titles coming out in 2002 are:

Age of Mythology
C&C Renegade
Duke Nukem Forever (as if that will ever be released)
Team Fortress 2 (ditto)
GTA 3
Hitman 2
Jedi Knight 2
Soldier of Fortune 2
Tony Hawk 3
Unreal 2
Warcraft 3

Personally I can't wait to get my hands on Jedi Knight 2, SoF2, Unreal2, and Duke Nukem Forever.

Funny how they're all sequels and the like - hardly anything 'new' coming out anymore.

i just got done beating rtcw
I wish there was a nightmare setting or something. It just didn't seem like it cut out to be all that great. Maybe i expected too much from it. But the last boss?? come on. . was that joke? I don't wanna say too much because I don't want to spoil the game for all of you who are still playing it or want to.
but If you have anything to say about rtcw, lets hear it.

personally, i I don't think they made it hard enough. And there wasn't that much action. the guns were tight. I don't know. I hope doom 3 kicks ass.
whens quake 4 comin out? or is that a rumor?
who's behind it?

Quake 4 is definately coming out, probably some time around Christmas 2003, I'd say. I think Raven software are helping out? Hmm I'm not really sure...

I can't believe my Vooodo2 still works and hasn't melted all over my motherboard after about over four years of continuous use.

I have to agree with Grumpy on the ending of RTCW - that is severly crap! I was loving that game right until the end screwed it up ;|

I'm looking forward to Doom 3 and Quake 4!

Red: Yep, Raven is the company who is making Quake 4

True, true. Incredible how much easier the game became once I relaised that the headshots are the most effective. Yeah sue me, I didn't read any readmes or anything.

I'm with Lindi Every readme I ever seem to look at tells me that this software won't work with a Voodoo2 or Win2K, so I figure I'll just ignore the readme and test my luck
