Hey there y'all..

My name is Max and I have recently started to play Quake 3...mainly because a colleague of mine wanted to play together in a clan 2-on-2...

I am not very good yet, but I get better....have won 1 match so far (when playing standard death match) and finished second and third a couple of times...

I'm sure that if I would play against any of you I would die like a pig...

I still suck at playing Quake, although I also have my levels where I shine..

Two days ago I entered a game with many clan players and for some reason within a minute I was first...obviously they didn't like that as next thing I knew they all went in on me together...

I'll learn...I will check which level it is that I was pretty ok at..

I think I have made the most active topic at this forum at this moment..

I'm learning my Quake by the day...if only that dreaded pointrelease would work with me....I would be able to play different levels as well...

Is it true that I need other files before I can install pointrelease 1.30 over 1.11 (initial version)?

Dragon ~ Most of the time you can just install the full point release, but sometimes there are updates that bring one point release to another.

st run the install of the 1.30 pr twice... at least, that's what I've had to do on a couple of my boxes
