http://cube.ign.com/news/38335.html looks sexy not sure if i'm investing in the cube or not but i sure want to all of a sudden any of you guys resident evil fans!?!?

yea, i saw the preview for that game last week some time.. and i was very impressed at how it looked..i wont get it because i have never liked that kinda game, but it still looks cool. as far as controlers go... i just hope that the make an x-box controler like the one in japan. -------------------- It's a crazy world. Someone oughta sell tickets.

they developed I whole new controller for the cube, supposedly its like nothing else out there, and is an excellent gaming controller...it looks very weird though.don't get me started ranting and raving about the Cube...it kicks PS2's scrawny ass, and spits in X box's face....the Cube is the best thing on the market (or soon to be anyway) You want a system with gizoms and gadgets get a PS2, you can have a game console that works crappy and a DVD that works just as well...get a Cube, and you are getting a gaming system, not something that slices and dices too oh and one more thing...the release price is $199.00...and what was the PS2's? they don't give a shit about the gamer...they just milk you for all they can...Nintendo focused on gameplay, and game quality...not on how to put in a DVD...sure the option is there for you suckers that want it though *deep breath* The Cube is my God --------------------  Oh you can expect that, everyone's mad here, you may have noticed I'm not exactly all together myself

Ati does have some better chips than nVidia, but they suck in the driver department for PC's.The XBox's paper specs list it technically superior to both the GameCube & PS2, but from everything I've heard, the GameCube is by far the easyest to program (powerfully) for. In the middle of developing the GameCube, Nintendo paused, took a look at what was out, and coming out, and said "Screw it, we're not going to compete for speed and graphics. We're going to make a system that is easy to make good games for, and is easy to play them on". And so far, it looks like they've succeeded. Not only is it cheap,(I've seen XBoxs w/ 2 controllers & 3 games going for $550, while GameCube w/ 2 controllers for $230), but every game I've seen for it looks awesome.

1) Nintendo has a thing about putting out crappy games.. 90% of the games are pokimon related. or something to that effect.2) No dvd/cd ... its not even a normal size disk. 3) After the developers get there hands on the x-box there will be some cool looking games. it has a lot of potential. 4) keep in mind the ps2 came out a year ago. the game cube is a step up, but not quite there yet. -------------------- It's a crazy world. Someone oughta sell tickets.

For the N64, it only seemed true because those were the games that got all the marketing. Nintendo realized that most people thought of the N64 as a kiddie platform, and are trying to stay away from that with the GC. quote:

IMO, that's a good thing. Instead of worrying, and being criticed on DVD preformance, etc, they're concentrating on being a gaming machine. Non normal sized disk is good too, because it means that it'll be a while before the games are pirated, because, even if a drive can read them, it'll be a while longer for that size recordable disk to be made quote:

Granted, but the system is SOOOO ugly looking. I've seen one in person before (visted a MS Game studio). It's like a frickin car amp.
