WinXP sure looks sweet, but I have my reservations about the new registration system.

Thats why I'm going to wait untill the final has been out for a while. I'll see what happens then and perhaps even ('curse the thought) pay for it.

You're welcome pars.. . Astral Projection kicks ass don't they? I've only got a couple songs. . . and since I'm on dial-up I don't think I'll be getting more anytime soon.

Lindi. . . WHAT are you THINKING!? You're actually considering BUYING an MS product. . . are you rich or something. Their software is the most over priced stuff I've ever SEEN.

Sure and the fact that I might have to reregister, i.e. pay again for the same product is a little questionable to me.

But I guess the MS plan on making warezing their product more difficult (and getting rich while doing so) is working, I mean they are going to be very avare of machines using their software from XP on... scary stuff. Perhaps I'll just stick to my current setting for a while.

I like your desktop. I dont like the green start button

How is XP anyways? actually, what is it? an upgrade of 98? or 2k? or just another ploy of microsoft to steal $300 from our wallets?

Windows XP = Bleh... it's one of the very few things in the world that you can't wank to.

Now LINUX, on the other hand... umm, brb

Hehe, yeah XP is pretty good, LOTS of features to play with for a few hours, and learn about - but whatever you do, don't get the 'home' version, it is just pathetic

The difference between XP and 2K is nothing really significant, except for the phunky GUI skinability, i can't wait to see some XP skins come out soon

What does the professional version have that the home version doesnt?

Oh, and i heard that you can only reinstall WinXP a certain number of times before you have to buy another copy. Like, 8 or 11 times or something. Right now i'm told that is still the court's decision...

The home version has a pop up box, or a question box on 99% of everything you click, with the whole OS linked to the help file so that it practically doesnt matter what you click, it WILL go to the help file how farked. So if you want to be annoyed by MS, then get the home version hehe.
