lol my bad, geezers is more like it. I been postin over at the gamegossip boards since this may i guess... name there is Grifter, i'm grifter everywhere now. Anyway I just wanted to say hi to everyone. You guys still playin Quake 2 or have you moved on the Quake 3 and beyond?

I don't play Q3 much, Q2 I still play somewhat. Actually, I don't have time to play a lot of games, nor a great connection to do so =/

I'm not one of the 'old, old' guys (Jondster comes to mind), but I am one of the old guys. And I do remember ya, Duke, welcome back. Some of us have 'moved on', we play Q3.

My connection sucks I started playin AvP and got real good at it but then mplayer died...I don't supposed any of you guys played on mplayer?-i guess even if you didn't i wouldn't have seen you though. 56 k is evil

AvP was really great, it's a shame that I never really got into Avp multiplayer. Anyway there have been some rumours around about Avp2, really looking forward to that if it ever hits the stores.

I thought the atmosphere was simply amazing, this is the only game that has scared me for real in a long time. Not many games do that to me, but AvP still does.

Must be my alzeihimers, I remember a lot of drinking, but no puke on cops. And I don't think I EVER wanted to go cow tipping. At least I don't think so... Hmmmmm...
I think it was roguebitch he was challanging, not sure though. I think the 1v1 actaully happened, and duke handled his defeat like a man. I think. My memory ain't what it used to be (see above!)

hmm... I kinda lost interest in quake about two years ago as the connections around here started sucking. Dialup was no longer any fun (well, despite 400 pings, the odd mod thursdays were quite cool, as well as the rogue lith2 rail matches). By the time I got cable, quake2 was gone (and WAY overplayed by me anyway. summer '98 was one big q2 binge for me ) and the abomination known as quake3 had spread all over.

Yeah it was Roguebitch alright lol. He owned me just like he said he would. Poor lil old me I was a niave fool and I didn't even know what 'ping' was lol. I never even used to strafe lol. Dah well gimme cable or DSL and a raily and I can hold my own now ehehe, well could have anyway, I haven't played Quake II in so long I doubt I could beat a one legged wombat...whatever THAT means.
Ehehe and I remember all of you, I just can't believe everyone is still here, its been such a long freakin time.
AvP 2 is phat man I can't wait to get it. Only other game that scared me like AvP did/does is RE2.

it is amazing, i played it multiplayer for like 1/2 an hour. you can play as alien/preditor/marine
