Seems to take a little getting used to, but othervise it seems quite cool. I like the new feature of loging in once and then loging out once.
Also the profile info summarized under the messages is kinda cool, because my memory is so lousy.

Member rating is one of those miscellaneous features.
Basically, if you like what a person posts (they're a consistent good poster) you rate them higher. If the person is generally an asshole and has nothing nice to say, you give them a low rating. So when you look at the rating, you'll know if the person is nice or a dick!

How long does one session last? I mean you login, but the session doesn't seem to expire... kinda neat if you always use the same machine to post... but if you move a round it is important to log out, right?

Lindi having used this version of UBB for a little while now at the [cough]blue board[/cough] I can safely say that it doesn't matter, it's just a cookie that identifies the machine your on (I think) so that the UBB server knows it's you. You can keep several machines going and it won't make a difference. (Trust me on this, I've got about three going, once I got my comp set up again, I have used the other two)

AFAIK, sessions are infinite, but you can logout at the top of the screen.

If you have someone else's profile and you haven't rated that specific member yet, you'll get a dropdown menu to your top right where you'll be able to rate that member...
