You can choose to not show it with TweakUI. Just do a search for it, dl'd, unzip and right click on the inf file and install it

Really, I never saw it on my win98 CD. . . Hmmmm. . . if it's there I'm going to be pissed. . .

I think it's in a folder named Resources. I could be wrong though. I can't find my cd to look.

can't show a pic cause im lazy but i couldn't find power toys in the resource folder of the 98 cd. but i'll go and try to dl tweakui thanx all!

I was under the impression that TweakUI was only on the Win95 CD, but I could be wrong.

grumpy, if you still need tweakUI I'd be glad to email it to you. it's not on the 98 se disk unforunately.

nono, thanx though, i got the proggy for my friend from www.download.com and i typed in tweak ui for all of those who want to get rid of those annoying icons'
