No I'm not leaving the board. But I've been out of work since January, and I'm pretty much broke, so I have to move back in with my parents. It wouldn't be so bad except, I'm losing cable internet. And seeing as I've been an LPB for a while now, I don't want to go back to being an HPW, so I won't be playing quake anymore. It won't happen till saturday, so I'll be playing lots at Llarians till then. http://quake3.llarian.net

Oooh, just thought of something. . . I have a hub, and I'm less than 300ft from your mom's house. . . anybody know where I can get 250-300ft of Cat5e, a crimper, and some 8conductor modular connectors. And don't say RadioShack. . . I happen to know for a fact they don't carry it in bulk.

I don't know about 5e, I have not seen it yet there. BUT: If you go to http://www.pricewatch.com and do a search on cat5e, you will find a company selling a 1,000 foot roll for $47 American (About $425 Canadian)... Plus a patch panel if you are so inclined...

Okay Snag, I won't hate you for blowing money on a spool of Cat5 you've never used. . .
On a lighter note, I've been granted a temporary repreive, my roommates have agreed to let me stay a couple of days past the first of the month, rent free. So I'll have cable a little while longer yet.

That is SOOOOO not true. I networked my old apartment. I networked my parents house. I networked my house. And Then when my parents moved again I networked their house again. Not only that but I opened my big mouth about my spool so a huge chunk got used up at a lan party we had hehe
