I think all the demos made now are all 100+ megs ridiculous.

It's a stand alone version. You don't need the retail Q3 Arena to play it. Once it's released though, you will.

I turned down a bunch of settings to make it playable.... Timedemo 1; demo demo000 gives me 30.0FPS......that's crap....I usually get like 68 with HIGH graphics in normal quake 3.

Ok, the reason ur gettin low FPS is prolly cos compress textures is OFF!!!
turn it ON!!! please??? it makes things so much better
BTW, what were u talkin bout a "funny" thing in the videos Killer? - i saw a bit where the two guys meet going over the big Jumppad and it looks like the Matrix! heheheh!
Plus, thank GOD we dont have to put up with that old piece of shit ID logo anymore! phew!
