I just got it back online. It is currently Plain Vanilla, with NO mods and NO custom maps. Running the last 1.17 update, NOT the 1.25beta!!

Server is piped out through a T3 with TWO T1's for backup if T3 hits 70% saturation level.

Located Geographically in San Francisco.

I'm just soooo looking forward to the SDSL, I'm sure that I'll be able to play you US guys with descent pings, when I get it.

I'll have to upgrade my computer too. It's kind of an viscious cycle...

the problem with having other ppl in your administrator groups...is when they install a firewall without telling you, and don't know that EVERY port is blocked by default!

GAH!

I explained it to him, and he is going to open the default Quake port 27960 for me.
