That last one is my gaming rig.
My normal computer is:

Celeron 500 @ 66MHz
Abit BH6 mainboard
196 MB PC-133 SDRAM
40 Gig Maxtor 72,000 ATA 100 HD
Xentor TNT2 32 Ultra
Toshiba 40 X CD Rom
Samsung 24 X 6X 4X Burner
Sound Blaster 128
Boston Acoustics
Samsung 19" IFT Monitor

In the next month or so I will be upgrading the following parts:

CPU ==> AMD Thunderbird 900MHz or possibly P3 850-900 MHz)
Mainboard ==> ABIT KT7 RAID-100 SOCKET A (or P3 equavilent)
SDRAM ==> Adding another 128 MB of PC-133
CASE ==> SUPERPOWER (LANDMARK KS-299)w/300 Watt PS
VIDEO CARD ==> ASUS AGP-V7700 DELUXE GeForce2 AGP4X VID ACCEL 64MB DDR W/TV
SOUND CARD ==> Sound Blaster Live

The cool thing is that I will pop a few parts that I have stored away (Sound Card, CD Rom, 64 MB PC-100 Ram) into my old case/Mainboard/Celeron & mate it with an old 15" monitor, Keyborad & mouse and sell it to this guy I work with for $450-500.

Making my upgrade only cost about $300-400.

No DJ, I haven't tried OC'ing it yet. Mostly because I was discouraged by the multiplier lock. I've reconciled myself to that fact, I'm now trying to decide what kind of cooling to use, cause I'm going to get this thing as high as possible.

Acid, that does suck cause with it already at 133, you would have to go to 170 just to make it an 850, whereas with the 650, 133 makes it a 866.
I put a GORB on mine last week and it dropped my max temp while playing Q3 from 48*c down to 38*c. I have not seen a temp higher than 38*c since I installed it no matter what I run. I got it at http://www.ascotpc.com/ here in Calgary. They also built this pc for me in June. Great little store with great customer support. And they ship.

Oops, I forgot to mention what kind of speakers I have . . .

Panasonic SA-AK17 5-disc Shelf System. . . 100watts at 6ohms

It plays MP3's good . . . as well as shakes the desk.

------------------

DJ, it sucks even more cause my mobo only goes up to 166MHz. On the bright side, if I switch it from jumper free mode and use the DIP switches I can overclock my AGP up to 1x bus speed. Right now it runs at 66.5MHz (that's 1/2 of 133MHz) which is normal AGP bus speed . . . think about the possibilities of that. . .

p3 450
192Mb pc100 (generic :[)
Gigabyte VXE+ motherboard (VIA, but it's actually pretty good, I had vodka+lemon spilt on my old BX2000)
Creative 32Mb TNT2u (Old, but f00kin lovely)
SB16 (ho hum...)
D-Link 100Mb LAN
Diamond 56k modem (Going in bin, as I now have a 10mbps connex at uni)
Fujitsu 13.6Gb and IBM 46.1Gb disks (both on ATA-66, but ata 66 is a bit shit IMO)
LS-120
Creative 8*4*32 CDRW
ADI g700 17" screen (fucking gorgeous)
MS INet Keyboard
Logitech mouse (only way to go)
blue precision mousepad

Abit KT7 Socket A
AMD Duron 700 @ (105x9.0@1.7v) 945. One case fan, one fan/heatsink on chipset controller, one fan/heatsink on processor, one house fan pointed inside case.

224mb of ram running at 105mhz CAS2

11 gig horribly slow drive (Can't believe I installed windows on this. Damnit. Damnit damnit DAMNIT!)
6 gig moderately acceptable drive
6x DVD-ROM

SB Live Value
3com Fast Etherlink (Anyone know where I can find drivers for it?)
Voodoo3 3000 PCI (Actually a 2000 overclocked to 168)
Rockwell HCF V.90 Winmodem (This performs slightly faster than the one below)
Creative Craps V.90 Winmodem (This performs slightly slower than the one above)

The reason I have 2 modems is that i'm probably going to bind these modems and have thrice as much bandwidth! (one phone line does 56k)

[edit: Got the fucker down to 1.7 volts, and overclocked the video card a couple more mhz]

Fury, how do you like your Logitech Optical mouse. . . I've been thinking of getting one, but I'm not sure that how well they work.

RoGuEBiTcH - "NEC multisync fe700 17.1' flatscreen" You suck, I hate you, I'm going to kill you untill you die from it!! j/k dude. The only monitor that I can say would be better would be the NEC FE750 17" Flatscreen cause it has an Aperature Grill. If you want to know why aperature grill is better. . . think Sony Wega TV's they use an Aperature Grill.

"think Sony Wega TV's they use an Aperature Grill."

Hey we just bought a Sony Wega TV! It's silver... mmm shiny. My brother says it has 'shader effects'. Hmm. Anyway, it kind of sucks because it keeps changing its sound thing to Drama and Dynamic and Soft and back again. Anyway.

Red, maybe it's your brother playing with the sound. Or maybe the TV has an automatic sound adjustment, meaning it changes it's sound enviroment depending on what kind of audio signal it recieves. Anyway, I was talking about the picture tube. . .

My bro's a nutcase. It's that auto adjust thing that keeps changing it. But it does get annoying.

And yeah, I know you were talking about the tube

Very cool case you've got there DeskJet!

Is that a Titan Majesty cooler, Burble? No wait a minute, those are for Athlons right?

Lindi: It's amazing what you can do when your bored and have a Dremel.

Redlemons: Yes, it's actually a fish head (lm bass) beer koozi but since I don't indulge myself in Budweiser as much as I used to, it has become a pencil holder.

Yes Lindi, I did it myself in about 30 minutes with a Dremel and 4 or 5 of those little hard cut-off wheels, I tried a cutting drill bit but that woulda took two days. Then used double-sided tape to hold a piece of smoked glass on the inside.
Can't take orders, that would cut into my quakin' time.

DeskJet ~ that's just so cool and it's easy to keep an eye on your fans, easy to see in the case.

Man I Wish I was handy like that.

Well, I used to post here many moons ago, back when it used to be Quake2.com, I believe. I have forgotten my password, so I had to start a new account. Rather than tell you who I am (or was), see if you can guess from my outdated computer:

AMD K6-2 300
80 MB RAM
13 GB Maxtor HDD
Riva TNT (Not ultra, not a TNT2)
4x Toshiba CD-ROM
19" CTX monitor
