Been awhile since I visited. I have been playing more two years on SBC DSL. No real problems (I gotta dl some patches and mods, learn to strafe!)The last few days I will be playing multiplayer online and after about ten minutes, I get extreme lag and freeze-ups. When I exit, my computer freezes and sometimes I have to hard-reboot.
Running Win98 on a Dell Inspiron 5000 with 384 MB ram.
No problems for two years, I mean, occassional normal lag but everybody gets it at the same time. Lately, I seem to be the only one having the problem.
Ideas much appreciated. I am having serious Quake withdrawal.
