A friend of mine installed Quake onto his pc again after he had formatted his hard disk, and now when trying to run the game, he gets this error:
Could not load openGL subsystem.
I think he should install a Glide wrapper, but he says that didn't work. Does anyone know what he should do?

We tried that as well. Someone gave us the tip to downgrade these drivers, we're trying that now.

He uses a Diamond Stealth 3D 3000 (turbo version) on a Pentium II (233Mhz) pc running Win98.
The game has always been able to run, but now I can't frag him anymore sice the game doesn't work
