I am able to test out new levels with the "map " command in the console, but unfortunately, I do not know how to play any custom maps in multiplayer mode with my friends, please, anyone know how to do this???

Your friends have to also have the maps on their machine. If you are running a server, they can turn on downloads and download it when they connect to you if the map is running or when it comes up in the rotation. Usually faster to icq it to them though or have them download it from the same place you did. Once you all have the same custom maps, you can all play together on any server running those maps.
